A while ago rumours started swirling that IKEA would discontinue it's Blåhaj stuffed shark, which is a universally beloved toy. Die FreeSewing-Gemeinschaft war über diese Aussicht ziemlich aufgeregt. No one wanted to see the worlds friendliest shark becoming extinct. Und ich auch nicht.

The individual pieces were traced, scanned, and used in InkScape to generate a fully functional shark pattern. I took the seam ripper to the poor animal, and transfered it's innards to a sterile bag.
Ikea hat Blåhaj nicht eingestellt, und du kannst den blauen Hai immer noch bekommen. Aber wenn du einen in einer anderen Farbe willst, bist du hier richtig.
